Mayor and councilors of the towns of Lac Simon and Ripon We the residents of Lac Viceroy, environmentally conscious, wish to ensure that we all take the necessary measures to protect our lake and its environment. We request that your municipality review all zoning and municipal bylaws concerning sustainable development and make the necessary changes to prevent high density projects that are not sustainable nor environmentally friendly. This is to include all lake front properties as well as secondary properties that have lake access to Lac Viceroy and to prevent multi use wharfs or marinas from being installed on a right away to the lake.

The growth in support has caught the attention of local officials in both Ripon and Lac-Simon. I am currently coordinating a formal meeting with the municipal planning departments to present our requirements for zoning revisions. Further updates regarding the outcomes of these discussions will follow as we finalize our presentation materials.

Le lac est déjà trop sollicité. On doit protéger ce qui reste avant que tout soit détruit par des condos.
Enough with the high density stuff!! Keep the lake natural please.
