    Comments: At approximately 3:15PM this date 12/12/05 I was in a chat room (I Love NYC Cops)I was booted from the room by a screen name of PepperGoneWild. She booted another member prior for not sending her a picture she requested. I asked her why she did that and she then booted me. I feel she abuses her poswer for possibly being part of the persons that set up that chat room and she should be told she cannot do such things. That room has several NYC cops that go there to socialize, including myself. To be booted by someone for asking "why" is childish. Kindly repremand PepperGoneWild and allow us to re-enter said room. If you are a male member, you should go and "jerk-off". I have been with AOL for about 2 years now because they have a German chat room called "Places - Germany" Since the day I have visited the German chat room (now called Places - Germany) I, as well as most other members are insulted in the worse way by some AOL members. My, as well as other's reporting these insults to AOL's TOS-Department, was of no avail. I guess "Freedom of Speach" only applies to those abusing it and taking advantage of it. My reporting a certain member of that chat room many times in one night resultet in my being terminated from that chat room because of "excessive reporting". That particular member was able to continue with his insults and was back the very next day to do it all over again. I also send e-mails to the so called TOS-Department of AOL and received the answer: "We currently do not accept e-mails from you". I finally had enough and cancelled my membership with AOL. I told them exactly why I was leaving, but was still offered a 3-months free membership. I declined. I was then offered a 3-months free membership and a monthly fee of $9.95 because I have broadband through another provoder. I declined as well. I have to say that the customer service representative was more than sympathetic and could not understand why their TOS-Department did nothing to stop the abuse. My advice is, if you run foreign language rooms, you have to have a native monitoring it. I have deleted most of my logs because I got very disgusted, but I have some recent ones, in case you are interested. I hope that you are and remain Sincerely, Brigitte

I am a good person with strong beliefs against the current administration, for this reason i was Tosed by others and have been told by the (Community action team), I am no longer allowed in AOL and have had my account revoked permenatly. remember this , you might need food stamps also someday, don't piss of George Bush. I don't get out much and loved the chat room and all my friends, sorry crying, most nights I want to put a gun to my head. AOL once formed with TimeWarner became the new NAZIs of the free world, if you can even call the Good USA a free country anymore. I and several others have been TERMINATED from AOL for complaining aobut people in chat rooms giving out our personal info. Those people are still there, but we are gone for "harrassing" them. I am currently writing to the attorney general about this. The police weren't helpful and AOL won't even respond.

    Comments: My experience on AOL was so bad I had to have a new computer made with no AOL components on it. Not only did I find the Escalation Dept, the Tos Dept and the police useless, but I have seen people's lives destroyed and my computer trashed and ruined by hackers. By the way - AOL lies. They told me that as a paying member, I would have identity theft protection. After about 25 calls to different numbers, I was told "NY isn't covered". They are dangerous, and harbor dangerous people who can invade your account and tell every chatroom who you are, where you live and what your ex husband did behind your back. NYC cops have been trashed in profiles and AOL has refused to remove same. They are useless, clueless and need to be shut down. Pass this petition on. It's worth it.

    Comments: AOL's terms of service are completely ridiculous and unenforceable. Do you know how many aol accounts I've had I don't even know how many I've had. When you get enough TOS's your account is terminated. And now you don't even need to call aol on the first 4 or 5 TOS's. You just simply try to sign on and fix your password from there. Half the time I'm at the computer when I get kicked off, so if I sign on quickly enough I don't even get blocked until the next time I sign off (which would never be on purpose). Instead of calling AOL and being told that I was naughty I just simply reinstall aol and sign up a new account. And since AOL is now free for highspeed connection users, I don't get charged ever for doing this. So being as that AOL's terms of service are completely unenforceable I pretty much say and "do" whatever I want on this piece of garbage. It's a joke. Thanks for listening. :)

    Comments: Not only have I been harassed by Huettenwirtin in Places Germany but she called me under another name and wanted to order flowers for her sons wedding and the whole thing was fake. If I had not had my suspicions I would have been out of serious money. This woman and several others in Places Germany have been harassing other members of the chat for a long time. However Huettenwirtin is one of the worst ones in doing so. For years members have notified her, called AOL send letters per snail mail, per e-mail and tried with any means possible to stop this woman including getting lawyers, the FBI and Police involved also for stalking several members of the chat. She is still there. But she had others thrown out of AOL so they had to get new passwords including me. When will this woman be stopped. This womans AOL membership needs to be canceled. I am offering my services as host several times a week to stop this. I am not the only one who wants her out of that chat room there are many many more. Others need to be stopped too. This is not a nice chat and many of the women in there and one man are outragiously nasty with langueage that belongs in the Baltimore Ghetto. Stop AOL from letting this continue
