I am a user who has had to be subjected to the harassment of TOS instead of \"protection\" - only ever for using foul langage. It is AOL\'s policy not to consider the context of any use of foul language, as in if the member was attacked or insulted or clearly provoked by a stranger online and said an expletive in retaliation. As a last thought, think about gay bashers, women haters, neo-nazis, racists, and the like that are happy to spend an evening just sitting online inciting users to use a curse word so they may report them just to harass them without even knowing them. AOL staff says they know this happens but you will still be warned and possibly have your account shut down if you respond to such provocations with an expletive.
