I am absolutely outraged to see this point "Increasing the mandatory period of supervised driving for Learner drivers from 50 hours to 100 hours." I understand you may be doing this for our own safety, but aren't you forgetting most P Platers are good drivers, if ur so paranoid about us with our driving, then why did we pass the P's test WHY not make it harder, instead u bloody extend it by two years, HONESTLY, what is that going to acheive. I am not a violent person, but if these laws do go forward, a LOT of people are going to be doin illegal activities to get past these STUPID laws. If the goverment is so worried about minimising the number of accidents on the road then they should stop discriminating against us because there are just as many or even more "reckless" drivers on their open license on the roads. Just because one person in NSW (Not even in QLD!) was doing the wrong thing it doesn't mean that ALL P platers are reckless drivers. Those of us who follow the rules and do the right thing are being affected by this stupid law and it is only going to create more problems which the government clearly hasn't thought over properly! There are many other fairer ways to prevent road accidents etc than to descriminate against us so if they want to make this actually WORK then these laws should apply to everyone!!!Flag
