Name: Lance Sison on Jan 25, 2008Comments: This Memorandum will make it harder for Filipinos to land a job in other countries, if the government is actually trying to help and protect OFWs they should think this over and device another memo. Something more effective and something more helpful for the common Filipino who's trying so hard to make a living in another country.Flag

Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 25, 2008Comments: This is a stupid move from the government. They can impose stricter hiring policy w/out involving money. This move only confirms the toughts of many that people in the government are so hard up on money that they had to resort to something like this to find ways to beef up their pockets. Where will the money go, who will account for this huge amount you're imposing on employers There are so many questions you need to clear with the OFWs first and the people looking for a better job as a whole, before you could just simply impose this law to us.Flag

Name: Liz on Jan 25, 2008Comments: 1.Bkit kelangan may bayaran per contract Buti sana kung d mabigat ang amount Refundable ba ito at the end of contract or mapupunta lang sa bulsa ng kung sino 2. Kelangan pang iverify ng POEA ang contract So ibig sabihin nito ang tatagal ang proseso ng hiring which is not good for the pinoy applicant. Flag

Already, it is now pushing me to seriously consider changing citizenship to the host country Im working as I dont find any value anymore of being a Filipino. It becomes a burden to be having this citizenship due to the Philippine government making it hard for us to make a living.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 25, 2008Comments: By implementing such memorandum, no employer would want to go into the trouble just to hire Filipino skilled workers therefore chances of being employed abroad will be very slim. Do you think people will look for opportunities abroad if there are within the country Do you think we will sacrifice to be far from our families if we have a choice Please don't use the people that wants to have a better life by working abroad not only for themselves but for their family. WE dont want our children to be deprived with the good things in life just because of a corrupt and unfair government that Philippines have. NDE PO GATASAN ANG MGA OFW, NAGTATRABAHO KMI NG MARANGAL PARA SA AMING PAMILYA AT NDE PARA SA BULSA NG KUNG KANINO MANG MGA MAPAGSAMANTALANG EMPLEYADO NG GOBYERNO!!!!Flag
