    Comments: I agree. Too many good American citizens have to put up with their bullshit. You could own a car but you're not able to drive it. Even with a perfect driving record, my cost for auto insurance is as much as $2500 a year. Thats just not right! I have college to think about and other bills! Plus if I get into an accident that's not my fault, I might as well just ruin my life cuz my premium would be even higher! We should all stand up to this injustice!

    Comments: You are correct.Most jobs people have do not pay them enough to afford auto insurance.This means they can lose their transportation to work or to a hospital if they have a medical emergency.Tennessee was one of the first to mandate this law without allowing it's citizens the chance to vote/choose what they wanted.I hope everyone will sign this petiton.

Who is going to pay Well let me tell you who is going to pay, it will be you if the person that hits you does not have insurance. This is a no brainier. Insurance protects those with little or no money. If you do not have insurance and you hit someone, they can sue you for what little you have. The Sheriff will come and seize what property you have and sell it at auction to pay you debits. This includes taking your car, and your home. Also, type the following into the yahoo search engine "The Impact of Mandatory Auto Insurance Upon Low Income Americans" (44% said they could not buy food due to auto insurance.
