Name: Miranda Smith on Oct 25, 2009Country: GBComments: It is completely barbaric that this is still allowed when not even bitless bridles are under FEI rules. I would never allow my horse to be abused in such a horrific way that is considered perfectly acceptable by those who are meant to know best in this industry.Flag

Name: JoAnne Glantz on Oct 25, 2009Country:Comments: This petition language is mild. People are outraged and disgusted adn local show activity is down. Is a small amount of interntaional competitiors above the law and beyond the reach of vets, and anyone else who understands the cruelty of these methods and the wrong path it is sending dressage down, and the large numbers of people who are turning away from the sport People are suggesting the Olympic committee drop dressage because of it. That is the result of the lax action against this horrid form of riding.Flag

Your judges are rewarding institutionalised animal abuse on a massive scale and it is filtering down to riders on all levels. Please take this opportunity to make a change for the good of the horse.Flag
