Educated myself online about it and have been horrified to see how many animals and people are poisoned each year. | 1019 | Allison Dawbarn | 4 weeks ago, my baby boy Socks was poisoned with Anti-freeze. We still do not know where he got a hold of it, but it was most likely accidental. At one a.m. in the morning I noticed him staggering and meowing in pain. I called the vet and all of them around me were closed and the closest pet hospital was in a town that was 30 minuets away. We got him there and then they treated him which cost us 668$ and put me in dept to my parents. Luckily, Socks lived, but suffered minor brain damage. I do know the fear of trying to decide if I should put him to sleep or if I should give him a chance. Many people think that animals are not important and can be subsided in a humans life, but animals are the most purest form of beings on earth. I would be glad to help you, even though it couldn't be much...but I wish you the best of luck! thank God someone is doing something. |

However this natural antifreeze costs more - and alot of people just won't pay the extra amount.....so adding a little bit of bittering agent in regular antifreeze for just pennies per gallon extra - sounds like a great idea - a small price to pay to save a life of a critter or a child!! |
