We believe that the magic cafe, the largest magical website online for magicians, needs to tighten it's policies against exposure and create new ways of enforcing online secrecy. While we are aware that the cafe itself can never truly stop online exposure - we do believe that it has become a large contributing factor - and we do not wish this to continue. We believe that new ways should be implemented to greatly reduce exposure, including moving more topic into the Banquet area and allowing the performers themselves (Magicians, Mentalists etc) to decide what constitutes exposure. In the past the cafe staff have allowed, and still are allowing, topics to remain in the public domain which contain casts amount of exposure; including threads which detail the workings of props, gimmicks and routines worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. In short: We believe the magic cafe needs to 'tighten it's belt' against public exposure.
