It was brought to the attention of members of the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley that the Knights of Columbus organization contributed substantial funds toward recent anti marriage equality initiatives. A request was presented to the RAPV board of directors that asked RAPV not to hold association events at the Knights of Columbus venue in Chicopee. The board of directors ruled on December 4th not to honor that request. We the undersigned formally and respectfully request that the RAPV board of directors change their decision on this matter as we cannot condone our organization's support of any other organization's discriminatory policies.
