| 313 | Darwin Macasero | Is this the only way to prevent the brain drain in our country?
We dont think this is a welfare of the new direct hires but a welfare of POEA and the govt.
Why should an employee hire a Filipino if they can get an Indian or China equivalent with no BOND? cheaper no hassle for directhire employers. This only cost a direct hirer more expense and more hassle to comply the phil govt requirement.
Some are happy to be hired directly as no agent's fee has been made. how can the POEA or the Phil govt be sure the bond will not be charge to the new hires.
Dont you think it will not be deducted to the new hires pay roll.
Will the govt refund the 5k USD bond if nothing happens to the new hire and after the contract?
What is the new hire's assurance in case he/she cannot adjust in my new environment and fighting separation anxiety from their family with a workers performance impacted the employer can throw them away anytime?
Pati ba ung walang pera an gustong maka pag abroad ay ppigilan nyo pa at pagka perahan.
Kung aayaw ang bagong employer nila during the process, paano na lng ang mga pangarap nila.
We dont think this was imposed for the welfare of the new or re-contracted OFW's.
Better think all OFW's will not be affected.
better stop this crap. |
| 314 | Anonymous | Kaming mga gustong umasenso pinipigilan nyo kaming mangibang bansa. Mga utak talangka kayo wag nyo kami isama kung gusto nyong bumagsak kasi kami gustong umunlad |
| 315 | Alejo Ty Ramos | This circular will be more of a disadvantage than a benefit. It will discourage foreign employers from hiring Filipinos. |
| 316 | Anonymous | Assuming na ikaw ang employer... and all applicants asking salary is the same...
malaysian : $3000 SGD
indian : $3000 SGD
pinoy : $3000 SGD + $11500 SGD bond for Phil Gov
Whom would you choose assuming they are all qualified with your requirements for the position that they are applying for? If I were to be asked, I'll drop the pinoy already in my selection for the obvious reason. Well thats me...
And for those who are non-pr's and want to apply on a different company in SG or other countries, don't they have to process their papers to the Phil. Gov again? If my understanding is correct they will be bounded in that crap policy already unless he/she was hired by an accredited agency of phil gov.
Most of us will be affected here as far as I know... this is very degrading for OFW's , I hope you would consider this to be abolished ASAP!!! |
| 317 | Anonymous | Bili nalang tayo ng island,
Gawa nalang tayo ng sariling bansa... |
They can always look to another country. |
| 319 | Anonymous | This is totally stupid..... very very stupid. I don't believe that this is for the safety of Pinoy workers abroad but for their (government) own personal motives. Very greedy & corrupt indeed. |
| 320 | Anonymous | This is unfair. They are restriciting possibilities for Filipinos to work abroad and discouraging the employers to get Filipinos. |
| 321 | Vanessa Manila | Dont come up with new tactics to make money out of OFWs. |
| 324 | PINOY SG PR | I'll sign up for the Singaporean Citizenship once offered. Darn it! These people have found a new gold mine for their very own benefit. They'll say it's for the benefit of the OFWs? C'mon a-holes! Premiums paid for these health and life insurance are WAY CHEAPER than that "BOND=KURAKOTZ" they're asking! POOR PEOPLE! POOR PHILIPPINES... |

| 326 | Anonymous | I hope the government will review the effect of this memo..., it's not really helpful especially to our Filipinos who wish to work abroad thru direct hiring. Agencies will just ask for a lot of fees and we can't afford it but with this memo, our chances of being hired directly is so dim. |
| 327 | Anonymous | This is crazy. Goverment just want more money. I might as well migrate instead of sending back my money here. |

| 333 | Ryan Concepcion | I am not in favor of this "Memorandum Circular No. 4". It will just discourage foreign employers to work for their company abroad. What's the use of security and insurance our government is telling. |
| 334 | Anonymous | Hope the government realizes the great impact of this on Filipino workers. There must be some other way of protecting the OFWs' sake (as how their objective says) apart from creating a possible hindrance to direct-employment offered by companies abroad. In the long run, this translates to less opportunities for us Filipinos to prove our worth and abilities, moreso living the kind of life we ought to live. |
| 335 | Raquel Macapagal | Our govt. think that our OFW's will benefit from it but the truth is NO NO NO. The corrupt officials will become very very happy with this memo. |

| 339 | Anonymous | This will bring the Philippine economy down. This is a big turn off for the would be employer. Hey! Gov't Officials, what come's into you mind for making this policy? This is really counter productive. This will benefit no one. |

| 342 | Joy Delfin | This is not fair. Allow us to have better future. |
| 343 | Marcenino Bautista | Abolish this ridiculous Memorandum. And bury it forever. |
| 344 | Ramil Maiso | Give me a job in d philippines w/ same salary that I have here in sgp, then I would agree w/ d objectives of POEA.
This policy is a big turn off! |
| 345 | Jessie Deduro | This is crap. Need to abolish this memorandum. |
| 346 | Jason | |

| 348 | Anonymous | instead of making our life miserable.abolish the law and help us to be successful. |
| 349 | Joy Christine Manalastas | OFWs had played a major part in the increase of the peso value over the past few weeks. Majority of the OFWs were directly hired so if we implement this memo it would affect the future OFWs and the economy as well. Boycott this memo!!! |
| 350 | Elvin Cua | GAGO TALAGA PINAS!! KURAKOT!! MUKHANG PERA.. DI NGA NILA MAEXPLAIN NG MAAYOS BAKIT KAYLANGAN NG BOND GALING SA EMPLOYER.. SIMPLE LANG YAN .. PARA MAY MAKURAKOT SILA!!! |
