Trinity Developments proposes to build a Wal-Mart at 501 Lakeshore East. This is on prime building land next to the shopping mall to the west which includes Shoppers Drug Mart and Lusitania Bakery. There are many objections to this plan. The first is that Wal-Mart is very unpopular for many reasons, among which are: it refuses to allow unions among its employees it destroys adjoining businesses by its cut-throat prices the whole surrounding area becomes degraded We, the undersigned are strongly opposed to this development.
