Did you know that Shisha is a far more harmful alternative of smoking cigarettes. It has been said that 1g of shisha smoke yields 100 times more tar, 11 times more carbon monoxide, and four times more nicotine than 1g of cigarette smoke? (Shahadah A & Saleh R, 2005) Okay, bet you didn't know. If you knew, then you probably would be doing PW on this topic.

Recently, there has been an increasing trend in shisha-smoking in Singaporeans. It reported that the number of cafes offering shisha has risen from 1 in 2002 to 47 in 2010 (Poon, 2010). This is due to a deadly misconception that shisha is a better alternative to smoking. (Yeah, right. Pssfttt)

Hence, the youths are especially vulnerable to this growing trend. The future of Singapore depends on these youths, US. In order for Singapore to progress, it needs to have a healthy and skilled workforce to have sustained economic growth. You wouldnt want everyone to looking pale and stinking (well not from shisha but from cigarettes. yeah we hate that too. The more you should sign!!)
