If you are like many other fans of street car racing and get tired of the bracket racing at CPD on Thurs night street car drags, please consider signing this petition. I frequent the dragstrip approx. 25 to 30 times a year and I\'m sure alot of others do also. It makes no sense to me to bracket race street cars. People do not hop-up or make upgrades to a street driven car to make it more consistent. They do it to make it faster. CPD had a better program about 6 years ago when you were classed into one of 5 classes and ran heads up for a trophy. Each class had a 1st place trophy to give away to the winner. It was a much better form of racing and everyone seemed to have more chances to run their street car down the quarter mile. So, if you feel the same as I do, please feel free to sign, and see if we can make a difference.
