| 258 | Wick Quoth | I'll admit that I can't really draw and usually resort to tools aligned to the GIMP, but I can't help but take notice that art theft can remove even the most-talented artists from dA or any other art sites just because some under-appreciated individual tries to better themselves by stealing other's hard-drawn work. Yet at the same time, it's like a double-edged sword with art. I feel that as long as it's art, it should not matter who made it, just as long as it is art, whether it's good or bad. I'll stop myself here to prevent any other offenses. |

Many of my friends have had their hard work stolen by those who don't care to try and put in the effort into their own work themselves. This HAS to be stopped, because it won't end with art thefts. It'll eventually lead to other thefts of work as well, so many artist, writers, photographers and the likes will be robbed of their credit by those who simply want fam and recognition the easy way. |
