Comments: I will ignore Annie on DVD unless it is given the remastered Widescreen treatment it deserves. When that version is finally released, I will but it in a heart beat. PLEASE make this happen!!!

Comments: Hi. I too would love to see a second Special Edition of Annie on DVD. There actually is a special anniversary edition that was released in #2004. Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of stuff on it. Just a featurette called: My Hollywood Adventure that features a grown-up Aileen Quinn talking about her experiences making Annie, a trivia game, sing-along and act-along activities, and a music video of It's A Hard-knock Life by pop group Play. I certainly hope that Columbia releases a #2-disc Special Edition. Here are the features I would like to see: Other language tracks besides English, French and Spanish An Isolated music and Effects track An Audio Commentary by whoever would like to or is available to do one. The Lights Camera Annie TV Special along with any other featurettes they can include. Deleted Scenes. Theatrical Trailers.

Comments: This DVD should be made for the simple fact that Annie is a classic and should be honoured, when i was young i watched it constantly and i'm sure a DVD would bring happiness to other generations. also i would like to see the special features mentioned, they could be a very interesting watch.

Comments: I just rented the Special Anniversary edition for my 6 year old daughter only to find that it's a 4:3 transfer. A new anamorphic widescreen release is definitely in order.

Comments: Besides being the widescreen version, the sound should be remixed for 5.1. On the TCM telecast, the sound was too much treble and too little base

Comments: as an actor i have both seen and preformed in movies and plays, and i have to say that Annie is always top dog, the play blows me away and the movie is 100 times better, its a favorite of mine since i was a kid and now was a teen i still watch annie and i would love to see behind the scenes and the deleted scenes. Annie is one of the best movies, for people of all ages and i think deleted scenes would inhance the Annie experience.
