Name: Abigail Meemken on Nov 15, 2012Comments: While declawing may have been practiced regularly in the past, it is no longer the "fad" and is irresponsible "adoption" practice. It is the removal of a knuckle and very painful. Having worked in veterinary medicine and rescue for years I have seen the devastating results of this surgery not only physically but in behavioral aspects as well. Please reconsider your position in this matter and stop the declawing.Flag
