    Comments: It's unfathomable to me that in this day and age this type of behavior is still happening. The people who are commiting these heinous acts against animals should be prosecuted or at the very least, not allowed to work with animals anymore. Please perform an investigation into this facility and proceed accordingly. Animals are voiceless and innocent and do not deserve to suffer esp. in a shelter situation. Thank You.

    Comments: The concerns describe exist at many municipal/county facilities. It is time to do more for the animals - it can be done and should be done. There are many people ready willing and able to help. Animal welfare has to be a collective effort between shelter employees and volunteers.

    Comments: I am with a NJ rescue who helps the unfortuante dogs and cats from the Burlington County Animal Shelter and I have seen for myself, over and over the awful condition of these animals who deserver so much more. Please open you heart and also please do something to help give these animals more time to find homes before simply killing them. Even producing more educational opportunities to the public about animal care would be a start.
