    Comments: We have made our domesticated animals as dependant on us as children...they can not survive without human care...love,food,shelter,medical care....They have no defense against abuse and cruelty.Therefore I feel the same laws that apply to the abuse of a child should also apply for our domesticated pets and zoo animals.

    Comments: animals are like family, so people have them for assistance in help. if a seeing eye dog was killed that person suffers a lost, a deep lost, that we can not explain, so what is the difference from an assistance, to just a normal pet i adore my pets, and let me tell you, my husbamd shot my boxer in the bed room with a hunting rile, because my husband is an alcholic, and he was going thru D-T'S which i never knew what D-T's was. the law did NOTHING A BOUT IT, 8 years later, My heart is soooo cover and burden with HURT, AND PAIN, FOR ME AND MY NOW TWO GROWN SON'S. I now have another boxer, and two schnauzer's male, and his daughtetr.. and my son and his wife have a boxer we will breed, and they adopted two other dogs, (labs) and 2 cats from the S-P-C-A.     Comments: Please let me know the progress of this petition. I just heard yesterday of a case near Pittsburgh where someone skinned alive a dog from his nose to his tail. I love animals and have a Husky myself. We have to do something to make this a FELONY. Animals can't talk, so we must talk for them. They only want to be loved, not to be hurt.
