Name: Jane Mardos on Sep 1, 2002State:Country:Comments: This country definitely needs MUCH tougher laws to protect animals! Who gives humans the right to torture and/or kill these beautiful creatures that have a right to live! They did not ask to be born and as a higher species of life, we humans need to care for these creatures.Flag

Name: Marilyn Eaton on Sep 1, 2002State: OHCountry: USComments: We have made our domesticated animals as dependant on us as children...they can not survive without human care...love,food,shelter,medical care....They have no defense against abuse and cruelty. Therefore I feel the same laws that apply to the abuse of a child should also apply for our domesticated pets and zoo animals.Flag

Name: Mary Beth Stock on Sep 12, 2002State: LACountry: USComments: This is the most horrible thing I have ever heard of. I want to help put a stop to this abuse. The judge who let him go needs to sit back and think about how he would like it if he were put throught this horrendous torture, then think about what his sentence should be.Flag

Name: Laurie Maley on Jan 10, 2003State: PACountry: USComments: Please let me know the progress of this petition. I just heard yesterday of a case near Pittsburgh where someone skinned alive a dog from his nose to his tail. I love animals and have a Husky myself. We have to do something to make this a FELONY. Animals can't talk, so we must talk for them. They only want to be loved, not to be hurt.Flag
