The petition

New Line pictures is going to remake the cult classic "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET". A film that introduced to the world Wes Craven's brilliant and possiably most recognized horror icon to date...FREDDY FRUEGER. This petition is to stop this remake from happening. This petition is being created for 2 main reasons... number one being the film still stands the test of time. And second being the plan not to include Robert Englund the only man to portay this on screen villian. So please join my cause in stopping Bob Shaye........................................UPDATE...............NEW LINE CINEMA WILL SOON BE NO MORE. BOB SHAYE IS SET TO STEP DOWN AND THE COMPANY IS MERGING WITH WARNER BROS. SO MAYBE JUST MAYBE THIS FILM WILL NOW NOT HAPPEN. BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUPPORT THE CAUSE JUST IN CASE.
