Name: Nina Walsh on Mar 6, 2009Comments: as the soil our food grows in becomes more depleted of nutrients, our water more contaminated and the air that we breath more polluted is it not right to at least allow us the chance to restore some kind of balance to our own health we do not ask for financial subsidy but for freedom of choice and respect as living, breathing human beings. i shall remain the optimist in hope. ninaFlag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 6, 2009Comments: If "WE THE PEOPLE" had access to GOD given foods-like Mother Nature so abundently supplied us with- we would not need supplements. But, under the circumstances, their potency should NOT be regulated - some need more and some need less. Let the choice be THE PEOPLES.Flag

Name: Christopher Beckett on Mar 6, 2009Comments: The proposal to limit maximum dosages of vitamin and mineral food supplements by the European Commission across the European Union, is not only unnecessary, but limits my democratic freedom in the choice of food supplements on which I rely. This is basically an infringement of my right to natural health. Such limits must be based on true science, and not the presently biased-science, that is heavily influenced by political and Corporate concerns. The EU Commission should be representing the interests of the European populace which it is supposed to represent: this is clearly not the case.Flag
