More Buses to run in rural areas on Anglesey

For many years we have been hearing that more buses will be running in rural areas on Anglesey north Wales.

This is still yet to happen when we have approached Anglesey County Council about this there Response was that no-one uses the bus service in rural areas and they also pointed out the financial limitations. they suggested a petition could be started to give an idea of how many people would like more regular buses.
I pointed out to them that some people have to wait up to 3 hours for a bus to Bangor or to llangefn and that the irregular service makes it difficult for those who work or are looking for work outside the local vicinity.
the council's view was that they could look into the siuation provided there is a definite call for more buses in the area .
So if you want more buses to run in rural areas on Anglesey then please sign the petition. if you wish to make a statement then please email it to  should you not have a email address but you want to sign please telephone
  01407722316 or 07561570381
Many thanks for your support .

5 years ago Comments: i live in a rural village and although i have a car my wife does not drive at all so if she wants to go to Town on her own she has to depend on the buses that run through here but if she does get one she has only a short time in town before she has to catch the next one home or wait around for hours after. the council allow enough buses on other routes so why not rural routes??
