Save ANGELIKA Film Center - restore the Bayou Place lease in downtown Houston

Angelika is an important local resource for independent cinema, and has become a Houston landmark. We do NOT want to see the Angelika Film Center closed.
It is important that Houston support a downtown cultural arts center like Angelika.
We urge Angelika and Bayou Place LP (Baltimore based Cordish Co. www.cordish.com) to reach terms that will permit this important cultural business to remain operational, so that Houstonians may continue to enjoy independent cinema in a central downtown location.

Seriously? The Angelika is the only reason I even make the drive downtown anymore. Bad move bayou place!!
