Angela grew up in the Flemingdon Park area when she was young and it was there she discovered the game of ice hockey at the Flemingdon Park arena. Since those earlier days Angela went on to great success in the game representing Canada on the international level winning and leading Canada to many World Cup titles.
Most recently her accomplishments have been recognized by the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) with an induction into the IIHF hall of fame which takes place in May 2008
