Comments: Both Abercrombie and Fitch and it's west coast version American Eagle create clothing that is intended for the teenager or college student. Thus, society's stereotypical image of this is extremely skinny for females, and muscular for males... completely preposterous in the REAL WORLD. If both clothing companies wish to appeal to the whole consumer population, they would create clothing that is flattering for all figure types and does not accentuate the androgynous form of what is labeled the sexy "female figure." Go boobs! go hips!

Comments: First I want to say that I am heavyset, but I have been losing and well on my wieght to normal wieght. But even at that, there will still be large size women out here that should not be denied the right to have the pretty and sexy clothes that skinny people have. So many times plus sizes are still to small. Designers need to hire large sized women so they can get the sizes right and stop making it tuff out there on those that are not small/petite/athetic built.

Comments: Yeah, don't forget that there should be pants that have wider waists for shorter people... I can never find pants that are short enough with the right waist size... not everyone is 6' tall and size 8!

Comments: Hey, I understand that the plus size people deserve to have popular clotes that fit them and that is why i'm responding to this petition...BUT..I also wanted to say that I am very skinny...i'm 19 years old 5'4" 96lbs., my waiste size is a 24 and i have no butt so I dont fit in Abercrombies clothes either! (not even their 00) And it really gets me upset, I have to shop at little kids stores just to find my size. It hurts my self-esteem just as much as a plus sized person when the clothes dont fit me. I just wish I can wear the clothes that all my friends are wearing. Well thanks for letting me speak my mind, and I hope everything works out for the best.

Comments: I think your right..all the clothing companies are making clothes for these skinny, model like people when it is a known fact that most of America is not even a medium...American Eagle and Gap are also guilty of this. This petition is a great idea.
