Comments: Paquin ahs made the Global Studies program to the second fastest growing major at CCU and has given inspiration, honesty and opportunity to the students. If I were still a Global Studies major, I would be leaving CCU because of this poor decision.

Comments: this man... has a huge heart. and if ccu wants him gone, they're just missing out. he can do greater things elsewhere then. all i know is that my global studies class taught me a lot, and his passion was the reason. you won't find anyone else like him anywhere, he's done wonderful things for ccu and for the world... he's pretty rad.

Comments: It is unfortunate that the strategic objectives (please do not read this as endorsement of said objectives) have been violated. After all, we want students to learn "to think for themselves" and here we are, squelching one of the sources that challenges them to do just that. Perhaps we should be more clear in our statement of purpose. Or perhaps, we should simply say what we really mean. I really cannot think of any work beyond that to which Paquin has devoted his life that is more Christian. But apparently, we would prefer to allow the poor and marginalized to remain so. And we would prefer to keep our students oblivious to them. It may be a trite question, hollow from years of Christian pop-culture and wristbands, but I cannot help but wonder: what is it that Christ would have us do, as we bear His image in this world

Comments: It is the responsibility of the university to allow students to become aware of the myriad of thoughts and experiences that exist in this world. Dismissing professors because of a conflicting opinion with the head of the school is exactly the kind of group-think history and literature has warned us is so destructive

Comments: As parents, you pray for adults who can set a Christian example for your children. Professor Andrew Paquin provided that for our son Adam Delp while a student at Colorado Christian University. Andrew opened Adam's eyes and heart to those existing in poverty both here and abroad. He and his wife opened their home to Adam and friends and definitely provided a home away from home to him. Andrew has shown by example that theory in the classroom is only the start of making a difference in our world. He has demonstrated that by acting upon knowledge, we can make a difference a soul at a time. We beseech you to allow him to continue to touch student lives at CCU who will in turn make a difference globally.

Comments: Paquin was the best thing to happen at CCU. He is one of the few teachers that challenged us to think for ourselves and didn't force us into a "bubble of Christians."

Comments: It was a foolish decision to "release" one of the only professors at CCU who challenged students and wasn't afraid to to ask "what if." I am ashamed to say I attend this school that only tells us how we should think.

Comments: I could say a lot right now but apparently the faculty has found it necessary and appropriate to read over these and send emails to students who write their mind. I don't want any of those in my inbox. But...you get the message.
