Comments: Professor Paquin has been one of my favorite professors and brings a level of academic excellence as well as passion for those who are marginalized in society to the classroom that many of my classes have lacked.

Comments: This is a horrible mistake by the administration, one of the universities greatest professors has been let go for petty differences in opinion. God forbid we think radically about our world the way Christ did when he came to preach the way, the truth, and the life.

Comments: I have had Andrew as a professor for the past 2 years at CCU. He does an incredible job at addressing the hard issues in global relations and forces students to really think about all aspects of our global society. He has really opened my eyes to issues on every continent. Paquin does not indoctrinate his students by any means but gives them plenty of food for thought. Is this any different than the debate Dr. Watson brings up in his class

Comments: We currently have a daughter majoring in Global Studies at CCU. She called us on Tuesday night crying because of Professor Paquin being released from CCU. This is not the first time we have heard about Professor Paquin, she has talked about his classes and how challenging they are. One thing that has been continually mentioned about Professor Paquin's classes is that he challenges her to think, and that she is able to express her thoughts without fear. As parents who pay for her college education it greatly concerns us when our daughter calls and wants to transfer to another college. This is a girl who thinks things through and doesn't cry at the drop of a hat. Our goal as parents has been to send each of our seven children to a Christian college. CCU was a perfect fit for our first daughter. We as parents would appreciate an explanation on why one of the most popular professors would not be asked to return in the department that our daughter is majoring in.

Comments: His first year at CCU Andrew was voted by the student body "the best professor" and now two years later he is not given a Job. This doesn't make any sense.

Comments: It's such a shame Andrew Paquin was fired. He offered an incredibly valuable perspective with his care for and work with the poor. I am worried for the future of CCU if the administration continues to make choices like this one.

Comments: I had Professor Paquin for Comparative Politics this past semester and it was one of the most thought provoking classes I have taken at CCU. The material we read and discussed challenged me to think about my political views critically and honestly. I truly think CCU would suffer a devastating loss if he were gone.

Comments: Professor Paquin has been a hero to me in the time that I've known him. He has encouraged student conversation and dialogue and he has helped students examine their own Christian walk, while challenging them to live even more like Christ in their priorities. It would be an educational shame to let him go from this university.

Comments: How are we to be a diverse body of students if we don't have a diverse staff guiding us Just because Paquin believe everything Armstrong believes is no grounds to fire him. When we go out into the real world we are going to meet people who don't have the same views as us, and if we are stuck in a Christian bubble for four years we won't know how to function since all our beliefs have been chosen for us. This is not the kind of school I want to go to, and I won't continue if things keep up like this.
