After Andrea Kremer's performance interviewing athletes at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, it seems only fitting that she continue using her expertise. And what better subject than an athlete that has raced over 354 million miles, survived the "7-Minutes of Terror" and hit a bulls-eye. Admittedly, Andrea (I'll assume that I can use her first name as she uses all of the athletes' first names) could travel to Livermore, CA or Houston, TX and interview the engineers and scientists that helped make Curiosity a success. However, she rarely interviews athletic coaches or trainers. Instead, she focuses on the athletes immediately after then have exerted themselves in ways that would hospitalize a normal human being and expects an intelligent, coherent statement from these people. So, to Andrea, the executives at NBC and anyone else involved, please send Andrea Kremer to Mars. Beyond the benefits above, this will also: - Bring a journalist's perspective to Mars in particular and Space Exploration in general. - Further humanity's quest to put a human on another planet. - Help commercialize space flight. Thank you.
