   Comments: I agree with the above. I was surprised that an announcement was made during school hours apprising students of the bible distribution. The fact that it was not on school property is not the issue. The in-school announcement was not appropriate

    Comments: Very few people seem to truly understand the First Amendment and that it GUARANTEES all tax paying citizens freedom from religion. Under no circumstances must a dime of tax money go to favoring or establishing religious creed of any kind. I will be more than happy to dedicate my time and energies to ensuring that the Ames school district not violate the law and in cases where it already has that the Ames School district be held accountable.
