Name: Cheryl M. Lafferty on Dec 30, 2012Comments: I have been suffering with this thing since at least 1980. All it has done is gotten worse and I don't have a life anymore. Many families and friends do not understand it or our limitations, cutting us off from social contact, etc. Do you even know about how many people have committed suicide because they no longer want to live with this debilitating disease? I was on the AMP-516 study, but unfortunately was on the placebo for most of it. But I did see people who did get better from being on Ampligen and you need to get it approved to we can live our lives again. I just turned 60 years old and would like to enjoy some of my life before I die.Flag

Name: Mindy Kitei on Dec 30, 2012Comments: The FDA advisory committee voted that Ampligen is safe. Ampligen has helped many CFS patients in the past 20 years. Nearly 30 years have come and gone without any treatments. Help patients now. FDA approved AZT for HIV/AIDS patients because patients were suffering and had no medications, and Ampligen is a much safer and more effective drug than AZT. CFS patients are just as sick as HIV patients. Do the right thing. Approve Ampligen now.Flag

It is simply not fair to spend millions of dollars on e.g. cancer research while neglecting to properly fund treatment for the insideous disease that is CFS (and it makes one disinclined to donate to these also worthy causes)Flag

Name: Anonymous on Dec 30, 2012Comments: My daughter suffers with severe ME she is bedridden, has constant migraines, severe flu like symptoms, lives in the dark can't tolerate light or noise and the only drugs that show some promise to alleviate this suffering are Ampligen and Rituximab. You have the ability to fast track Ampligen. Please act with compassion and help us...2 1/2 years of my son and I totally caring for my daughter - please approve Ampligen and offer us some hope of a brighter future and the chance of all 3 of us getting our lives back. Please.Flag
