I would like to see my grandchildren grow and be able to care for them which I can not now. Why does everything have to be about money? We have rights that are being looked over. The President needs to step in because this is not right.Tired of being neglected and abused by the system!!!!

    Comments: I have personally seen the benefits of ampligen in a very dear friend who was very death before treatment with ampligen. Those afflicted with CFS should have access to this treatment as they do not have avenues to recovery. The side effects of CFS are far worse than the perceived side effects of ampligen. I strongly urge the committee to do the right thing and let CFS patients decide!

    Comments: This drug holds the only treatment hope for my daughter and I. Please help my entire family by approving this drug so that the two of us can have some quality of life. I was diagnosed in 1985 and my daughter was born with CFIDS. We have suffered with this illness and patiently waited for a treatment long enough.

    Comments: This drug has benefited many of those lucky enough to be able to afford it. It has been proven to be safe, even voted to be safe at the recent adcom meeting as well as being proved safe on numerous independent studies outside of what was recently presented to the FDA. Furthermore, the drug is administered in a clinical setting so there is no chance of a abuse/dosing problems like there would be with a pill. Failure to approve this drug even conditionally would be a travesty to ME/CFS sufferers.

    Comments: We hope the FDA will approve Ampligen. Our son has had CFIDS since after his sophomore in college. He has been able to take Ampligen from a clinic run by Dr. Peterson in Incline Village. Dr. Peterson and Joe and I feel that Matt is doing much better these past few years. His main treatment has been ampligen, and Matt thinks the drug has really helped him.
