Name: Anonymous on Dec 28, 2012Comments: As a retired regulatory associate with big pharma, I have seen many drugs, instruments approved by the FDA. Some not worth approval, and some that are worthy. Ampligen is worthy of approval as it has helped 1,000's of people who suffer with this debilitating disease. I have spent over 100 hours combing through this compound. Let the suffering people have this. You are hurting people when you put politics ahead of them.Flag

Name: Faith Wong on Dec 28, 2012Comments: Ampligen has helped a significant number of patients with ME/CFS and has been deemed safe. Please give FDA approval! There is no other medication for ME/CFS which is nearly as effective. It works for some of the one to four million Americans suffering with this debilitating, multi-systemic illness! It should be given FDA approval so that a portion of struggling patients can get their lives back!Flag

Name: Tanya Selth on Dec 28, 2012Comments: I got ME/CFS 15 years ago and are on disability for it. My condition is so bad due to ME/CFS that I cant even stand or do enough physical things to be able to look after myself, so have home support carers (in my case paid by the Australian Gov). This drug has helped severe ME/CFS cases such as mine so please please approve it and give people like me a chance to get off of disability or to even just be able to take full care of myself or go back to even part time work would be great and make a massive difference in my life. Its like a crime to have someone which can help some severe cases be held back from us.Flag

Name: Linda Barossi on Dec 28, 2012Comments: I have been one of the fortunate few to experience Ampligen. The benefits are unbelievable. I've also watched dozens of my friends get their lives back. No it's not perfect and we don't expect to be back to 100%, but the improvement has allowed me to go back to work! There is a huge misunderstanding of this drug. The "side effects" are nothing more than the DISEASE itself. Why can't anyone understand this? There have been no significant side effects. I've only seen GOOD in myself and the other patients who have received the drug. This is total insanity. We have a drug that DOES help us and no approval, after all these years? PLEASE approve Ampligen NOW!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Terry Gilmete on Dec 28, 2012Comments: I have had this disease for over 27 years. I just started on Ampligen in April, 2012, after all these years of being sick. I have seen people all around me get well on Ampligen. I have also started to feel bursts of energy at times. I have also had a friend who has ME/CFS die who was not on Ampligen! I cry that she won't ever see the day when there is an approved treatment. I need more time so I can get well! Please pass this so others have the opportunity to experience wellness for the first time in many years as well! It has been too many years of us sitting invisibly in the wings, suffering silently, left forgotten. Do the right thing and approve this application!!! As Lori Chapo Kroger said at the advisory committee meeting on Decemer 20, 2012, "Our rooms are our tombs!"Flag

Comments: Hemispherix data has always been weakly presented, but the patient data is so powerful that the committee should have listened. The 4 questions only addressed Hemispherix, which normally should have been adequate. But they have never produced convincing data because of their sloppiness. But listen to the patients who have been helped by this drug - the only medical intervention available. Give us a chance!Flag -

My cousin has bravely struggled, at great costs, to regain her health and ability to live her life fully, and the use of this medicine is imperative for her and many, many others to do so. Thank you.Flag

I have not been able to be on Ampligen because of the cost and lack of availability in Ohio. I would love to see if it would enable me to be able to resume a more active life and no longer be bed fast. PLEASE approve this drug for all of us who suffer without hope.
