Comments: I have been ill with ME./CFS for 15 yrs, lobbied for CFS in D.C several times and followed Ampligen for the same amount of time. I have never had access to the drug, therefore I am now five years late stage, forced on disability after a flourishing career in theatre as a producer. I demand access to this drug, and will take the risk as many of my fellow long time suffers have when they forged the path for the rest of us,and their personal sacrifices to get access to the drug must be factored in. I also demand that all panelists on any committee that studies Ampligen and its history, MUST be told to take the amount of time needed to understand the true nature of this emergency. Sincerely, Jackie Schultz CMV Guillian Barre, 1978, ME/CFS 1997, Late Stage 2008 to present. Age 60 Female.

Comments: Dear Madame and Sir, please think about your decision about Ampligen! My friend have CFS since 12 years and she lost her hope in the last years. When she heared, that is new hope for an approval of Ampligen, she had a big smile on her face and got big hope for the future. If its approved, maybe she can get this soon in Germany. In the moment is no helpful treatment avaiable. Please show some warm hearts for the bad situation. You can send a sign around the world. CFS - Patients also from Germany and the whole Europe lost a lot of hope after the Adcomdate. Please give some hope. Sincerely Peter

Comments: Please approve Ampligen conditionally, so that patients will have access to this drug and it will be possible to gather more experience with it without further delay. The drug might not be perfect, but safety risks seem to be calculable after using it for many years and there are little options available to ME/CFS patients. Let doctors make the decision until it's possible to get to a definitive assessment.

Comments: my wife died of ME's complications. God knows if she still would be here with me, in this room, if possible life-savers like ampligen would have been approved far earlier. So kindly note the consequences a refusal to admit ampligen could entail.... doesn't that outweigh any formality? We do recognize the importance of thorough investment before allowing, but again the patients themselves didn't have any say in the matter.... please imagine for one moment your own son's or daughter's life might be depending on this drug. How would you cast your vote right then...

Comments: I am one of the one million plus Americans suffering with this awful disease. I have been ill since 1985 and I have now been forced to retire on disability. I am a shell of my former self. This drug has benefited many of those lucky enough to be able to afford it. It has been proven to be safe; please approve its use for people suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Comments: Ampligen has proved its benefits for patients around the world with no ill or severe affects. Why not help FDA? You have control by placing medical conditions and limitations to ensure Ampligen is adequately utilize for CFS/ME. Approve the drug for the people in need, so it can be control medically and the drug can maintain a competitive price as well.

Comments: I have had severe ME for 4 years. I'm 28 and my life is on hold until I get better. My partner and I have been together for 8 years and we want to get married and start a family but we can't because I'm so sick. I have extensive care needs and I'm housebound nearly all the time and need a wheelchair on the rare occasions I go out (usually that's only to the hospital - nowhere fun!). Please help me get my life back by approving Ampligen.
