PROVIDE AMPLE PARKING AT KENSINGTON METRA STATION

The petition

WE, THE COMMUTORS OF THE KENSINGTON METRA STATION WHO DRIVE TO THIS STATION FIND PARKING AT THIS STATION TO BE A MAJOR PROBLEM.

METRA HAS NOT PROVIDED ADEQUATE PARKING FOR IT'S CUSTOMERS. COMMUTORS ARE OFTEN FORCED TO PARK IN NEIGHBORHOODS AND IN ALLEYS, OFTEN COMING BACK TO A CAR THAT HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO OR VANDELIZED. ON FRONT STREET AND AROUND THE STATION, THE CITY HAS POSTED ONE AND TWO HOUR PARKING SIGNS AND THE POLICE ARE TICKETING COMMUTOR'S VEHICLE AND BOOTING CARS AT A ALARMING RATE.

THE CITY NEEDS TO REMOVE THE ONE AND TWO HOUR PARKING SIGNS AT THIS LOCATION.

METRA NEEDS TO PROVIDE MORE PARKING FOR IT'S CUSTOMERS.

THIS LOCATION IS A MAJOR STOP, METRA IS WELL AWARE OF THIS. THEY NEED TO PROVIDE IT'S CUSTOMERS WITH WHAT THEY NEED TO UTILIZE THEIR SERVICE.
