Eddie CThe community cares about the Amiga, we do not want this "civil war" that is destroying everything we've been holding on to for two decades
Jens BacheIam a real Amiga-User!
Klaus BenderAmiga Inc. payed the money both agreed on in the signed contract. Hyperion is in no way entitled to keep the OS. Amiga Inc. should get hold of sources and binaries immediately.
Stephan HuebnerI think it's a shame how certain companies seem to be unable to do anything productive. Instead they're destroying what was done upto now.

malcolm harveyAmiga.inc and Hyper...OS4. Really guys...I was a developer both in assembly and c for many many years. and also was involved heavly both writing programs for share ware and commercial programs and assisting in ports...and it takes years of dedication to remove assembly and rewrite kernals and the like to a portable platform...but the bottom line is, if amiga.inc has paid money to hyper to get the job done, then they either do two things... 1) Amiga.inc combine with hyper and become one r&d roof or.. 2) Buyout hyper and get on with the italian company or there own ack and frescale cpu`s and build and put this out the door os4 and to os5 later on at least then we can have the machines. On the other side of the coin, from a programmers point of view, it was a monumental effort to port this and rewrite the code as I know too well, so id be dammed if if let amiga.inc (commodore) take os4 without a huge payout and royalties, so again they need to stop the dispute and id say join out of court, in the end they need r&d software just as much as hardware. Compare hardware ack vs acube from what i see there not that much different in the end ppc based and move along with the job i think we would all have to agree. So many ppl are in the lurch with either 3.1/3.9 or 4.x os versions, other ppl like myself cant even get a machine to even develop on at all right now and other ppl just want bug fixes, which hyper can do if they sort this out, its not that hardguys. 615 Dominik Raddatzthere is no need to spend money for lawyers, the money can be much better used for products instead, so a cooperation would be much better.
Jacob DahlenThere is no reason why Amiga Inc. and Hyperion Entertainment can't put aside their differences and work together.....

patrick robinsonI think we had enough parties the last ten years not willing to cooperate for the purpose of keeping the amiga system up. Meanwhile we can count the few remaining companies worldwide. Now look at the actual Amiga situation and judge for yourself - do we really need more companies being in conflict with eachother?

GenlocHaving been involved with Video creation tools on the Amiga for years, I am now convinced that there is a third party in the wings who do not wish the Amiga to be re-born. We will find out one day who it is, and God help him...

AnonymousEste sistema y sus usuarios se merecen un hardware y un sistema operativo potentes. Las luchas legales solo estancan una plataforma con muchas posibilidades.
Rick BalkinsAs an Amiga SDA developer (AmigaAnywhere), I believe it is time to set aside these issues and move forward. This will be a benefit for Amiga Inc., Hyperion, Amiga community (classic, PPC and abroad), and Amiga developers (classic, PPC, AmigaAnywhere, ect.). It is time to move forward. Hyperion to move forward with AmigaOS development and Amiga Inc. with work regarding AmigaOS 4 & 5 and AmigaAnywhere 2. We have seen amazing derision but it will be a time to set a clear announcement of setting these issues aside and work together to move the Amiga community forward again.
Eric PineThe creative freedom that Amiga harnessed changed computing for the better. I am eager to see such spirit continue in the industry.
