I am personally requesting your assistance with a news story here in the town of amherstburg. Myself and many other Amherstburg residents are outraged over the loss of the water front view at fort Malden National Historic Site in Amherstburg. The Fort has decided to erect wood palisades, much like a pressure treated wooded fence, taking away the beautiful water front view of the water for the surrounding residents and community and event attendees. I ask that you please support this petition in opposition of the wooden palisades...... in hopes that Fort Malden will recognize that the community wants the beauty of Fort Malden to include an open concept view. Thank you for support.
