Senate Rejects CPRD! Dec 4. 2012 | Comments (1)
Just minutes ago, the U.S. Senate voted "NO" on ratification of the U.N.
Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Praise the
Lord!
The vote was 60 Senators in favor of ratification, with 38
Senators opposed. Ratification would have required at least 67 votes.
Thank you to all of those who contacted Senators, signed our petition, and spread the word among your friends and families. ParentalRights.org
said in an email that Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama stated his
office received over 1000 letters and emails voicing opposition to the
treaty, and only 40 in favor of it.
This is a great victory for parental rights and U.S. sovereignty. Praise the Lord!
