Name: John Estes on Aug 29, 2011Comments: As a lifelong OK taxpayer and one of the longterm employees affected by the potential move, I cannot begin to explain the outrage that I feel for this ridiculous decision made by AA management. It will impact our local economy, and will cause further degradation with AA's customer service and on-time dependability. What a joke!Flag

Name: Terry Brandt on Aug 30, 2011Comments: What we are faced with here in Tulsa and American's heavy maintenance in general is "Failure By Design". Everywhere you turn there are road blocks. We blame it on poor management when in reality it is a well orchestrated plan to prove that we are not competitive in the heavy maintenance business. The downsizing of our heavy maintenance has been going on for years now. Both Republican and Demarcate have ignored what has been happening. Politicians give our tax money to American on a hand shake and walk away reaping short term political gains while the long term effort to down size heavy maintenance though attrition goes unchecked. As long as it is politically feasible for our local and state politicians to turn a blind eye, the downsizing will continue; until the lights go dime here in Tulsa. Remember MCI!Flag
