Name: Diana Yaros on Feb 11, 2010Comments: I will never shop in an American Apparel store. I will ask all my friends not to shop there either. Amazing how one can understand one oppression, neccessity for fair wages, and yet exploitation of young women counts for nothing. a shondehCountry: CanadaFlag

Name: William Burgess on Feb 11, 2010Comments: As a customer of American Apparel who supports your company's use of fair wage & other pro-worker practices, I'm outraged at AA's current 'Find the Best Bottom' campaign. Even though AA has always come close to the line between marketing to their customer & exploitation, for me this current campaign has crossed the line- It clearly exploits women (and by extension, girls as well). Although women may voluntarily submit their photos, you are providing the avenue for them to do so in a very base, sexist way (where are the urgings for men/boys to submit photos of their asses?). These kind of marketing campaigns may seem sexy, but the reality is is that this exploitation contributes to a very real, un-sexy culture of violence and misogyny against women. Again, as a consumer of AA, I urge you to pull this campaign and instead realize that consumers don't need exploitation in order to buy your products. Until you do pull the campaign & change your marketing practices, I will no longer purchase products of American Apparel and will encourage my friends & family to do the same.Country: United StatesFlag

You can let up on the expectations you're putting on us now. Oh, and find some models who I couldn't break with my pinky finger, being a healthy 150-lb. 5'7" female. Sorry, but if I have to show my bare naked ass to you and your minions to be part of your yuppie clique, you can go and stuff your tiny mannequins up your own tiny assholes.Country: United StatesFlag
