Way to pray on young women and to stoop to a new low in search of the almighty dollar. Your company should be ashamed of itself.Country: United StatesFlag

Name: Marie LeMay on Feb 8, 2010Comments: Girls and women are not body parts! Shame on you for stooping so low to try to do anything that will sell your products. You are contributing to harm toward girls and women in the name of profits. Your irresponsible ad campaign has made me vow never to do business with your company, as well as educating others about your pathetic, sleazy salesmanship.Country: United StatesFlag

Name: Donna Richards on Feb 9, 2010Comments: This kind of marketing shows a distinct lack of creativity and product confidence. When corporations and individuals stop scraping the bottom for entertainment and profit, we will all be better off. I'm glad I had kids before the whole world went crazy. I might not have wanted to bring children into a world that devalues everything and where class and dignity are no longer even pondered let alone practiced.Country: United StatesFlag

Name: Amy B on Feb 9, 2010Comments: I am interested to know the ages of the girls they are looking for. Adolescent girls are extremely vulnerable to this type of ad and would find it appealing (most notably in a world that values looks over brains). This is an idea that is becoming more and more detrimental to the minds of our future women. American Apparel is one of several companies that exploit young women. There much more work that needs to be done. We need women of all ages to stand up for each other and trust in their own thoughts and ideas, not allowing someone else to develop them. I am not sure if this is a reality that can be achieved but I suppose one can hope.Country: CanadaFlag

Name: Margaret Breslau on Feb 9, 2010Comments: I own a retail store and have carried your products since I opened over seven years ago. I own a 100% sweatshop free business and I like your products but now you've got a hard sell with me. Best bottom contest? Are you kidding me? My customers often take note of the highly sexualized content of your website and some even question why I buy from your company. I justify my purchases with your sweatshop free practices but when you run campaigns like this, it's really discouraging. I am not impressed.Country: United StatesFlag
