    Comments: My husband worked there as an arranger from 1968 until December 1970. He has a great respect for the accomplishments that came from the studio. Chips Moman, Don Crews, Mark James, Dan Penn, Spooner Oldham, and the band and singers all deserve this recognition.

    Comments: I visited this studio in the late 60's while my brother was working there. I think it is deserving of regonition into the Hall of Fame just by the list of hits and artists who chose to record there. It is a bit of Rock & Roll history that is not only worthy, but necessary to preserve for future generations. It is important to link our present with from whence we came I think.

    Comments: Some of the best American R&B, pop, soul, and rock were recorded at American Studios, performed by some of the greatest studio musicians and artists ever. If any recording studio in the world deserves Hall of Fame status, it's this one. I only regret that I, personally, have never had the privilege to make musical magic in Mussel Shoals.
