Name: Erick Crews on Apr 3, 2012Comments: I hope my signature will help honor the legacy of American Recording Studio and the many talented people who worked there. I'm very proud of my father (Don Crews) and all that he did to help American become a major force in music in the 1960's and early 1970's.Flag

Name: Clarence H Nash on Apr 3, 2012Comments: During the mid and late 60's and the early 70's American Recording Studio in Memphis was regarded as the "World Class" studio by many labels and producers. The place you go if you want to cut a hit record and where you could get a "world class" producer and the hottest band (rythmn section) to cut it for you, regardless if it was a new upcoming artist or reviving the career of an artist that has already reached stardom. This studio and it's principles (producers, writers, arrangers, and band) and metaphored "Rock-a-Billy" and evolved it into "Top Forty."Flag
