155 Susan D.Keeffeskeeffe@ix.netcom.comI have been concerned lately as RCEB Case Managers have not been attending IEPs. I have learned that is because there are not enough Case Managers. I supervise severely involved students placed in nonpublic schools where the involvement of Case Managers is critical to the families and students. This raise is long overdue. The workers are devoted and work very hard. This despite the fact they have had no increases in pay for 9 years! Please support this measure. Susan Keeffe Parent/ Sp.Ed. Administrator

165 Bill Pelterbpelter@cpcoak.orgHelping our case managers helps people with developmental disabilities their families / caregivers. This kind of helps sustain the quality of support envisioned in the Lanternman Act.
166 Ira Cobertimc827@msn.comThe state needs to make provisions to pay regional center more money especially it's case workers since they do wonderful work with the resources that are provided
167 juliana guevarawguevara@sbcglobal.netI WOULD LIKE THE CASE MANAGERS GET PAY BETTER SO OUR CHILDREN GET BETTER ADVOCACY FROM THE CASE MANAGER. PLEASE TAKE THIS IN CONSIDERATION PLEASE THANK FOR READING MY COMMENTS. JULIANA GUEVARA (MOTHER) ANDREA GUEVARA(CLIENT)
168 Jill Robbdjphrobb@comcast.netMy son's case workers have always worked hard and deserve appropriate and competitive pay. They have always been helpful and it is obvious they juggle quite a heavy caseload. For continuity purposes, it is imperative for people with special needs to retain the same case worker for as long as possible. If case workers do not receive appropriate pay and workloads, the chance of turnover is much higher thereby negatively impacting the service to regional center clients and their families.

180 mary e. rollinsclrog1@msn.comsince it has been almost twenty years the raise should be substantial, 5% won't come close to current cost of living
181 mary e. rollinsmrollins@westsiderc.organ almost twenty year absence of COLA warrants much more than a 5%
182 vickee canovasvictoya17@gmail.comi agree that it is vital to structure the case managers pay to the escalating economy of the country and also, reduce the number of case loads they are required or expected to take on. how do you expect quality service if the quantity is way too high -- a person can only do so much esp. with the demand in each individual clients' life. i have been in this population for almost 16 years and i truly believe and i can see how the case managers make a difference in the client's life. let's make it worth their while, with assistance to making ends meet and lesser volume in case loads to minimize quick turn overs which affects the clients. i work so hard in making a difference in my client's life -- quality and stability ... it is not easy, considering i only have six (6) ... and the case managers have 60-80. how? is just beyond me. thank you.
183 AnonymousAnonymousCase managers make a significant impact on the quality of life not only for the consumers they support but the general population as a whole. It's time their compensation matched the effort and dedication they put forth.

187 Theresa Tunniclifftotto@ucsd.eduMy son is turning 18, finishing high school and starting vocational training. We need his case worker to work hard for him more now than ever. These people will continue to burn out if they don't have at least a cost of living increase!
