This petition is to confirm that we, the concerned undersigned citizens of Billingham, Wolviston and surrounding areas, would like to see the 70mph zone of Wolviston Road in Billingham amended. We would like to see the following amended urgently and with immediate effect: 1) Reduce the speed limit to 40 or 50 mph instead of 70 due to what has happened recently to 16 year old Thomas Brown in the car incident which occurred on April 1, 2013 at 10:45pm and passed away the next day in this location. 2) Re-paint the lane markings on both carriageways and put up street-lights too.
