Jessica MossI use both negative and positive reviews to determine whether or not I will make a purchase. In the past, I have assumed that reviews were generally not subject to author complaints. I find the circumstances of this case unsettling, and will be hesitant to rely on amazon reviews in the future.

Charles SonaThis is outrageous. Amazon, change your ways! Charles Sona
AnonymousSo much for freedom of speech !
AnonymousThis is horrific to consider that Amazon is doing next to NOTHING to combat these horrible & frightening things. In the DAM situation, what if a rabid fan tried to attack this person (ala the Jodie Foster situation) in order to curry favor with the author? (The difference is that Jodie Foster never asked or implied that she wanted anyone to try to kill or hurt anyone for her. This author IS implying that she wants someone to hurt or inconvenience this person!)

AnonymousWhat happened to Reba was a shame, and she should be reinstated at Amazon with her full privileges; she should also be allowed to speak her mind on the board in any form, manner, or mode she chooses. Amazon should be ashamed for rebuking and banning Amazon from the Discussion Forum when clearly the author was abusing her privileges on Amazon to harass and intimidate a reader that dared post a less-than-raving review of her boook.
