| 102 | Shelly | It's despicable that someone is being treated this way over a review, and it's a sad thing that Amazon has allowed this sort of behavior to flourish unchecked. They need to take the steps outlined above immediately to prevent their customers from being abused, or they can expect this customer to go elsewhere. Barnes and Noble and Powell's are looking better every minute. |
| 103 | Julie | What a sad state of affairs when one person's opinion can cause such a vicious attack... |

| 105 | Lani | This author should NOT get away with this! This could have happened to any one of us, and if this doesn't get fixed, means it could happen again. I have been a loyal customer of Amazon for 7 years, but I will no longer purchase my books from them until they fix this problem. I will shop elsewhere. Amazon won't get *my* $$$ |
| 106 | Anonymous | I'll never buy from Amazon again! |

| 110 | Allison Hol | As a reader and a book consumer, the issues and concerns raised in this petition are very distressing to me and I believe should be taken seriously and addressed promptly and decisively. |
| 111 | Julie Briggs | |
| 112 | Susan Jackson | This is appalling and taints everything I read at Amazon and something should be done about it. |

| 114 | Lin Dempsey | Now that I know how Amazon reviews operate, my enthusiasm for the siteand the information on it have dimmed considerably. Maybe B&N online has it . . . |
| 115 | Connie | This is twisted and wrong. Readers are entitled to their own opinions, and authors should learn to deal with it. |
| 116 | Kim Hand | I'm an Amazon customer in good standing, but I refuse to spend another penny there until this intolerable situation regarding the voting abuse, and reviewer stalking and harassment by author Deborah MacGillivray is dealt with, and harshly. This woman has abused the system, cheated readers, and hornswaggled Amazon customers with relative impunity for long enough. I flatly refuse to buy any products from Amazon.com until this con artist has her ability to stalk and harass others severely curtailed, and an Amazon representative reinstates customer reba belle as an Amazon member in good standing. Oh, and a formal apology to her would be nice as well. |
| 117 | K. Z. Snow | For the sake of Amazon maintaining whatever integrity it has as a bookseller, this absurd review system needs entirely to be revamped. |

| 119 | Lynne Simpson | |
| 120 | Elaine Lovitt | I'm an Amazon junkie and have posted many reviews and bought many products from this online vendor. I would like to see the review-cheats kicked off of the site, as they spoil the fun (and hard work) of the honest reviewers. |
| 121 | Anonymous | I'm very much against this abuse of the Amazon system. I used to refer to Amazon when deciding to buy a book and read the reviews there. I'm afraid I don't trust it anymore. |
| 122 | Kendra Patterson | I'm horrified that ANYONE would be treated this way. |

| 132 | Lynn Abbey | The only people who should be able to delete reviews are Amazon employees, and -- if they're wise -- Amazon will keep track of what's been deleted and why.
And, frankly, authors should be strongly discouraged from posting anonymously. |
| 133 | Kristie | I am appalled at this whole situation. I've know for a while that some authors 'play' the system at Amazon and when I find out which authors do, I no longer purchase their books as to me it's a form of cheating and I will not support cheaters. I also realize this is very difficult to police and I don't really expect it.
However, this situation is way past simply cheating. This is a form of cyber terrorism.
I sincerely hope that Amazon takes action in this matter. If no action is taken, you can be assured, that in my opinion, Amazon are accessories in this and they will no longer receive any business I might have had with them.
I have bought from Amazon in the past and I've always been very pleased with the service. I truly hope this continues |

| 137 | Anonymous | this type of behavior is outrageous, irresponsible, and uncalled for. Amazon needs to address the situation, and not turn a blind eye as they always do. |
