Anonymous | This type of behavior is immoral and offensive. It should be stopped immediately and appropriate action taken by Amazon to protect customers from this sort of abuse and stalking.
Jilly | Between this and the BookSurge fiasco, Amazon is swirling the drain.
Anonymous | This is bad behavior on the part of Amazon and Deborah MacGillivray and her followers. The reviewer should not have been banned. She followed Amazon's guidelines and did nothing unethical, unlike MacGillivray and her minions.
Phyllis Lamken | Banning the reader is nonsense. Believe it or not, we all get reviews in life. I wish all my reviews were 3 stars.
N. Barrett | I am disappointed, disgusted and angered by this Amazon situation. Having to deal with people who would not like your work has always, always been a known fact, whether you are an aspiring author or not. If MacGillivray and others cannot deal with negative responses to their books, then they should not be writing.

Anonymous | I have to say learning about this was very upsetting and I hope something is done.

Caitlyn Hunter | I hope Amazon will stand up and prove to their customers, the people who made them what they are today, that they care about the integrity of their business.

Anonymous | Please stop these horrible practices. People should be able to post comments without fear of being personally attacked/assaulted by others.

Lynn Noworyta | I thought Amazon was an adult business. I didn't know it catered to high school-like behavior.

L. Hendrix | If you at Amazon truly believe in the Reader Comments format, you should not allow authors to manipulate the system by abusing and threatening those who express opinions they don't like.
Shelby Watts | Up until today I purchased all of my books via Amazon.com. Their resolution to this situation makes me uncomfortable enough to never use them again.

Charla L. Anderson | Until Amazon ceases to allow stalking or the threat of same on ANY level, I will not do business with them. This is beyond vile.
Lori Benson | This is a terrible thing.

Anonymous | Have notified government and state authorities where the author resides. These actions are illegal and construed as cyberstalking. Past cases reflect prosecution and sentencing in various states. Under 18 U.S.C. 875(c), it is a federal crime, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, to transmit any communication in interstate or foreign commerce containing a threat to injure the person of another via the telephone, e-mail, beepers, or the Internet. The threat is implied and charges can possibly be pressed.

Anonymous | I fully support this petition and have quit buying from Amazon until this is resolved. For me that means Reba gets an apology from Amazon, as well DAM's book are either removed or all of her reviews deleted. (If they can delete Reba as if she didn't exist, they can it for DAM too.)

Anonymous | After learning of this, I will NEVER buy a Deborah MacGillivray novel. I hope she's happy with what she's done.

Leigh Ann Knoblett | I'm simply appalled by Amazon's behavior regarding this incident. Until this matter is resolved, I will not make purchases through Amazon.com. Unfortunately due to their affiliation, I will also not be purchasing any school uniforms through Target.com.
| 647 | Anonymous | I mistakenly opened two accounts with Amazon, my second had money in it. I realized my mistake, contacted Amazon, who quickly informed me that they wouldn't be able to transfer the money from one account to the other. However, please let them know which account to close out, because per user agreement, we're only to have one account. No problem, I ordered a book with the small amount I had in the second account, and will now use a single account. BUT, Amazon is very quick to resolve issues they want to.
I don't know why they're dragging their feet on this one when it's obvious this author and her friends/groupies maliciously abused the system.
FIX IT quickly like you did my little problem. |

Patti | Reba Belle is owed an apology by Amazon.com. Action also needs to be taken against Deborah Anne MacGillivray and her author friends for thier alleged actions in regards to the review and discussion boards by Amazon.com
