| 551 | LA Douhan | I have been following this whole debacle the last few months and I've got to tell you....I WON'T be making purchases in the future from Amazon!! How you could allow the 'cyber-stalking' that has happened to Reba Belle is beyond my comprehension!!! Shame on you Amazon!!! you must be out of your minds to think that this type of behavior is tolerable....your review system needs a major overhaul if this is what transpires amongst your Authors. This is tantamount to sports 'fixing' and needs to stop ASAP. |

| 554 | Anonymous | Reviews are reviews, good, bad, or otherwise. And no one should have to feel that their family is threatened, just for their opinion. |

| 557 | Jenny Meyer | For Amazon reviews to be meaningful, one needs to see the good and the bad. I am more likely to pay attention to highly praised books when I can also read, in balance, what people who didn't "love" the book have to say, and then decide for myself if their comments would be valid for me. |

| 562 | Anonymous | I know it's an example of a few bad apples spoiling the whole bushel, but you need to resolve this. |

| 565 | Melanie Hayen | I have been an Amazon.com customer for along time, but in light of this I will no longer be visiting the website or making purchases there until this matter is resolved. It is irresponsible to your customer base to allow cyber stalking to take place through your website, and highly insulting to those same customers that a bit of whining from a thin-skinned author is all it takes to make your review system worthless to readers. |
| 566 | L. Carl | Amazing. Never imagined such pettiness and unprofessionalism could be exhibited by seemingly educated adults...thanks for enlightening me.
Wake up, Amazon! |
| 567 | Aubrey MacDougall | I'm really upset that anyone would have to deal with this. |
| 568 | Sherri Moorer | Amazon.com is completely out of control and needs to be reigned in immediately! |
| 569 | Lisa May | I plan to stop purchasing through amazon.com until these serious issues are resolved, and urge people I know to stop buying from amazon.com as well. |
| 570 | Anonymous | Name calling and personal attacks should be prohibited, but critical reviews are what makes Amazon different from fan sites. If readers are afraid to post non favorable reviews, Amazon loses its standing as an open forum. |
| 571 | Terri S. | I have stopped buying books through Amazon because of this issue. |

| 575 | k louie | For shame, DAM and Co.. You are not above ANYONE.
You've just paid for bad publicity - it takes only one person to spread the word. |

| 578 | Tony Burton | What unbelievable hubris and stupidity combined, for an author to act in this fashion. Amazon--straighten out your act and stop this practice, or at the least make it impossible to accomplish. |
| 579 | Kathleen Gossman | Until corporate policy changes, with a public announcement, on these charges, I shall content myself with book purchases from other booksellers. |

| 581 | Jessica | Personally I am disgusted with the lack of an appropriate response from Amazon (ie banning of a cyber bully, even if she is an author) and yet heartened by Reba and those backing her in their own ways.
Amazon has lost a lot of credibility - if they can't monitor and act on their site with the amount of evidence that has come forth how can any customer expect to believe any recommendation of a 'good' product to purchase. |

| 595 | Timo Pietilä | Well, I have long suspected that Amazon reviews stink like hell, but this fine proof - and Amzon is stoning the messanger it appears. |

| 598 | Anonymous | A frightening reality. |
| 599 | Anonymous | Amazon should not be protecting anyone who behaves badly, whether author or reader. If Belle is sanctioned, MacGillivray certainly should be sanctioned twice as long for her harrassment and threats against someone who was only reacting in an honest manner with a review. |
| 600 | Anonymous | Disgusting. I just won't order from Amazon any more. |
