Amanda Bynes has expressed interest in recording a rap album on more than one occasion. In mid 2013, TMZ reported Waka Flocka (founder of Black Squad Monopoly records) to be working out a record deal with Amanda Bynes in addition to discussing her potential rap career. When asked about Bynes, Waka Flocka said, "She has it all together to me. She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game." He later added, "It's going to be crazy hot."

No projected release date was given.

Waka Flocka has said Bynes's new career and album weren't the only things discussed in the conversations. Motivational topics came up, including "keeping her head up from the haters."

Just shy of one and a half years after the report, Amanda Bynes has not released music and no confirmation of contract signing has been made. With Waka Flocka's apparent confidence in the album, a song release from Bynes would generate the buzz and hype needed for a hit music career.
