I propose that instead of placing parents in jail for non-support we help these parents. Non-custodial parents should first be given an opportunity to become educated/trained in a career. Placing parents in jail has yet to proven that it is beneficial to either party involved.The only thing the government is acheiving by incarcerating parents are resentment and alienating parents from their children.
